Creamy Chicken and Vegetables

Serves 6-8

This hometown recipe brings out the vegetable's flavor using your slow cooker. The gravy is prepared in just minutes and slow cooked to absolute perfection.


  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 6 cups potatoes (cubed)
  • 6 cups carrots (sliced)
  • 2 chopped medium onions
  • 2 teaspoons of thyme
  • 1 can of chicken gravy
  • 1 can of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of water

Here's how...

  1. Place all ingredients in the Crock Pot Slow Cooker, vegetables first.
  2. Stir in gravy.
  3. Stir in water.
  4. Cook on low for 10 hours. Make sure the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are nice and tender before serving.
