Crock Pot Bratwurst & Sauerkraut
This recipe brings out the full flavor of this Bavarian favorite using your slow cooker. It is prepared in just minutes and the brown sugar blends with the sauerkraut to absolute perfection.
- 1 1/2 lb (6 cooked bratwurst cut in1/2 slices)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 32 oz. sauerkraut
- 1 chopped onion
- 4-6 hot dog buns
- Place all ingredients in the Crock Pot Slow Cooker.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
- Just place the bratwurst and sauerkraut in the buns and serve
Top with your favorite spicy mustard or special hot dog toppings.
