Big State Spicy Crock Pot Beans

Serves 4-6

These spicy vegetarian Crock Pot beans are sure to please. Just the right amount of spices blended with two different beans and fresh onions. Yummy Spicy!

Ingredients

  • 5 strips vegi-bacon orĀ 3 soy patties cooked and crumbled
  • 1 16 ounce can kidney beans
  • 1 16 ounce can pinto beans
  • 1 15 ounce can tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 bay leaf

Here's how...

  1. Mix ingredients in a large bowl and add to Crock Pot Slow Cooker
  2. Cook on high 3-4 hours

Try this...

Cook 1/2 cup of lentils and add before cooking in the slow cooker to make this a three bean blend. Serve topped with sharp cheddar cheese and sliced onions.
