Big State Spicy Crock Pot Beans
Serves 4-6
These spicy vegetarian Crock Pot beans are sure to please. Just the right amount of spices blended with two different beans and fresh onions. Yummy Spicy!
Ingredients
- 5 strips vegi-bacon orĀ 3 soy patties cooked and crumbled
- 1 16 ounce can kidney beans
- 1 16 ounce can pinto beans
- 1 15 ounce can tomatoes
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 bay leaf
Here's how...
- Mix ingredients in a large bowl and add to Crock Pot Slow Cooker
- Cook on high 3-4 hours
Try this...
Cook 1/2 cup of lentils and add before cooking in the slow cooker to make this a three bean blend. Serve topped with sharp cheddar cheese and sliced onions.
